After a long, rugged drive over Grey Creek Pass in British Columbia, the track winds down to a welcome sight — Gray Creek running through the valley below, its clear water full of trout. Further upstream, extensive logging in the mountains causes erosion that muddies the creek, but as it filters downstream the water transforms — brown first, then golden, then a deep green, before slowly returning to clear blue in the lower reaches. This quieter, more reflective piece depicts a deep hole on a bend in the river, caught in its green phase.
