Framing
Any of the works available for purchase can be framed right here. I offer quality framing using a variety of reclaimed timbers, with different treatments and finishes available. All frames are handmade by me. Custom framing is also available for your own works. Get in touch for a quote.
Choose your timber
About the frames
I use spline joints on the corners, which add a lovely detail.
Because I use reclaimed timbers, there are imperfections, and I choose to keep them as part of the story. Each frame becomes an artwork of its own, and no two frames are the same.
The designs are simple and minimal. The choice of timber and finish is made to create balance and harmony with the artwork.
You're welcome to choose the timber and finish yourself, or leave it to me. If you have something in mind, get in touch and I'll do my best to match it, depending on what timbers I have available.
Frame profiles
20 x 20 mm: used for most A4 and A3 works, and some A2 works
20 x 30 mm: used mostly for A1 works, and some A2 and A3 works
25 x 30 mm: only available in select timbers, used for A1 and A2 works
Matboard and glass
Three matboard colours are currently available: white, black and grey.
2 mm float glass is used across all frame sizes. Non-reflective art glass is available on request at an additional cost.
Pricing
A4 framing: $250
A3 framing: $300
A2 framing: $350
A1 framing: $400
Framing is added to the price of the print or original. Prices include matboard and 2 mm float glass.
