Close to the mouth of Lake Wallagoot, near Turingal Head, the waters are shallow and sea grasses reach the surface, creating a patchwork of shapes across the lake. The swans like to feed here — and here they were on this winter's afternoon when I arrived feeling incapable of producing anything of beauty. I sat on the bank and watched them feed as the dramas of a restless mind slowly dropped away. Sometimes all it takes is a good dose of swan therapy.
