Leaving the crimescene with a mouthful of margarine

When I first left high school I was looking for a job that paid more than Maccas without too much commitment — and I discovered fruit picking. The harder you worked the more you made, and you got to be outside all day. Perfect. I found myself at Cherry Lane Orchards working for a wonderful old farmer named Bob and his lovely wife Jane, picking cherries all day with friends before retiring to the pickers shed. One afternoon walking back I passed Bob's dog wearing the most suspicious grin I'd ever seen on an animal. I rounded the corner and found out why — he had demolished the entire tub of margarine I'd left on the bench. This is his exit portrait.
