Just south of Evans Head in NSW you can park at Chinamens Beach and wander the track south down towards Goanna Headland. This lively study looks south from that track, bursting with two Australian flora classics — saw banksia (Banksia serrata) and grass tree (Xanthorrhoea sp.) — and capturing the wild essence of coastal Australian scrub. Definitely one of the more fun works in my catalogue and a personal favourite.
